was the person who made this "post" a leaker? or someone claiming to be one?
Cause baseless claims really shouldn't be brought into discussion.
because all it really sounds to me is an Amourshipper going completely overboard.
yeah that is confusing.
Her smug altaria getting smashed point blank not so much.
it's one thing when a trainer is cocky or smug...but when a pokemon starts acting that way...it's bound for a butt kicking.
i've seen worse honestly
alot of anti-climatic fights happened back during Hoenn/BF, at least with Lucario you could tell what it was doing.
unlike fights were ash's pokemon got beaten within an inch of their lives only to win in pretty much one retaliation strike.
If we're talking...
You could look at that battle as a tie breaker since Hau had beaten Ash in his debut episode, but then lost later on in that same episode, thus they were tied heading into the league
If the brackets weren't so clear cut i'd be more ok with Iris beating Cynthia, but since that's not the case I'd...
all leagues gotta start somewhere, it wasn't perfect but it wasn't terrible either.
There were a few negative moments (such as Rowlet's sleeping gag going too far, and Gladion cheating especially against Kiawe) but I generally found it enjoyable personally.
Except that all i'm seeing is that this is the new excuse for why people don't like his current team, when it's clearly happened with other teams as well.
That's not power scaling, that's called stupid resetting because clearly Zekrom did more than just take away Pikachu's electrical powers...
I won't disagree with this, but power scaling has been a thing since Kalos, this series only made it more apparent.
Still better to me than when your only purpose for appearing is to help with the daily plot and blast off team rocket as your sole source of training.
Greninja - somehow taps it's fanfiction level power up while being a frogadier to beat Olympia, then almost immediately goes into it after evolving in most if not all of the battles it was involved in, never really getting a chance to truly prove itself in it's base form.
is the insulting part the fact that they are "new" or the fact that you just don't like them in general?
There are pokemon people like, and those people hate, i get the feeling that if Ash was running with pokemon people liked regardless of being new, they would defend them no matter how wrongs...
