Kaiji's one of my favourite anime. If you can look past the weird art style, it's got some very intelligent writing and it's OH SO SUSPENSEFUL.

I don't really know how to describe it, it's 12 girls trying to become "top idols" so you pretty much see them doing idol type things, going on radio shows, recording TV shows, movies, performing concerts etc. it does have a bit of drama here and there, I'd recommend it.

I've been watching anime for like 10-11 years now, it just kind of accumulates over time.
