no they are ducks. phyduck is a duckling and golduck doesn't even have fur (which a platypus does) and neither of them have a flat beaver-like tail.

Hey, good point about nominating Ineptatnormal's story for the fanfiction awards. It wasn't updated in a while, so I completely forgot about it. I edited my post and nominated it for a few categories.
