Indeed. Hyper offense is alot more about just settingup and running head long at problems, Heavy offenhse is more about getting rid of the biggest wall for one of oyur sweepers and then going on an all out attack. If you have 5 sweepers and 2 of them are only waleld by one member of their team, its OK to lose the other 4 pookemon to kill it.
My dear uneducated fool, they are similar and yet different. Hyper offense utilises set up sweepers, often dual screens and suicide leads, and is about not switching unless you have too. By staying in and dying, you often can send the next mon in to set up, and begin its own sweep attempt, and often not about over predicting. If you have set up enough, doesn't matter what they switch to take hits, your faster and can OHKO their team, so just hit whats in front of you all the time. Heavy offense is about using offensive power houses often without boosts, and switching, forcing things onto spikes and prediction play more of a part, as well as pokemon with a few more utility moves or a bit more bulk.
