    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

    Saw someone say Horizons pacing is bad because everything could be condensed into 6 episodes
    I personally get pacing criticisms (but I don't mind the pacing so far) but saying everything can be condensed into 6 eps? That's just wrong it'd turn everything into a mess and the characters would be a lot flatter

    Sure, it’s “slow” compared to the Ash anime, but that’s what happens when you go from an adventure/monster of the week format to a more serialized story.

    Yeah. I’ve had UnovaMaster on ignore for awhile and I can tell he responds to my posts. The ignore system in general is very flawed. At the very least you won’t get notifications if they interact with your posts in any way

    The only reason why I’d assume it’s ignore and not block is because as a forum you’d lose context if the person you’re trying to ignore is a part of a conversation. I only have like 3 people on block and have gotten used to him

    I used to think the anime fandom on this forum was a little unhinged then on twitter I saw a guy take pics of his self harm attempts (nothing bloody though thankfully) and linked the tweet to people he argued with (I think) saying "look what you've done"
    I think that's enough twitter for the day.
