Haha, some of them. Clair, Whitney, and Chuck are fine. The others are either so so, or suck.

However, it doesn't bother me too much as I am expecting rematches.

Well just because it references 4 games doesn't mean all 4 games happened at once...so it wouldn't really matter if it's the "same guy" as in FRLG. Grue's team was all referencing his team possibilities in the original 3.

But as you said, won't matter soon enough.

Regardless that Pikachu was the highest level ined pokemon in ther esries until Platinum's final Rival refights. And his entire team was a reference to Generation 1 as a whole (The starters represented RGB, Pikachu Yellow, Snoralx was required to get past for Red to be champ at one point, and Eevee's thing was there only being one (Espeon was probably chosen to show Red as a good trainer)), they wouldn't change that.

Now maybe adding some items to that team...

I'm asking credit to the cleaned up versions, not the sprites themselves, although since I had to trace the sprites over and over plus fill in the colors in a sense their clones more than clean-ups.
