    Alola Pokedex Discussion Thread

I know others have disagreed with me on this, but I feel like it's justifiable seeing as it's the 20th Anniversary of the franchise, while more specifically, the 20th Anniversary of the first generation. GF was pretty greedy giving Gen 1 Pokémon a lot of Megas, which I understand wasn't really...

Pokémon Sun and Moon - General Discussion Thread

Yeah, but each Galapagos Island had a different biome. I presume each Alolan Isle has the same, or similar biomes, which is why Ninetales, Sandslash and Executor adapted the way it did, and why their normal forms are unavailable.

But then Mew wouldn't be the ancestor of every Pokémon because it didn't beget Arceus. I like the interpretation though ;)

    Alola Pokedex Discussion Thread

Even if they are, don't fret. I'm sure we'll have more variations in future games of Pokémon from other generations.

Pokémon Sun and Moon - General Discussion Thread

Or just leave it as a mystery ;) . But in all seriousness, this is why I don't trust the Dex with stuff. That and Garchomp still can't learn Fly . . . Ah, I see. Well, to be fair, Mew was the only legendary at the time the Dex's entry was even written. I doubt the writer thought this through...

    New Pokemon Discussion Thread

We'll have to agree to disagree on appearances and usefulness and whatnot. Especially on the Alola forms. I mean, Igloo Sandshrew?! That's so innovative and creative; I love it!

Mega Evolution Discussion & Speculation Thread

Ah, I see. I'm not really knowledgable on the subject, but I just remembered seeing a lot of primal ideas for Fossil Pokémon and was an interesting take on the subject.

Pokémon Sun and Moon - General Discussion Thread

I understand. I'm not really disagreeing. All I've been trying to say is that there is no clear cut answer. You can believe it's evolutionist or creationist in nature without fault. Why not? If it is able to utilize any move (in lore), then why can't it mean all Pokémon? Considering they've...

Mega Evolution Discussion & Speculation Thread

From what I remember (and from what I just read off of Bulbapedia), unlike Mega evolution which is fueled by the energy of people and Pokémon, Primal reversion is fueled by energy found in nature to restore the true powers of a Pokémon. So in theory, it shouldn't be exclusive to just Kyogre and...

Pokémon Sun and Moon - General Discussion Thread

But at the same time, there's not really a reason to think it's not. It's based on one's conscience; it's open to interpretation, that's all I'm saying. But it doesn't refer to normal Pokémon, it specifically mentions, "all Pokémon." Even then, the Poké Dex isn't entirely accurate, and even...

Sun or Moon? Which version are you getting?

I think most people refer to that as the "Red Versions"
