I like the idéa of running Protect. However you will lose a powerful STAB move.

Once again, personal preference.

But having a priority move is always welcome hmm

But that seems like a solid moveset, tho taunt instead of Ice shard could really wreck something trying to setup while resisting. Just sayin' ^^
