X/Y has been very generous with Shinies for me. Only Shiny I got before X and Y was a Glameow that had randomly appeared on my Pearl. Other than that X and Y has given me all of my Shinies and a lot of them to! (Thanks to the Shiny rate being halfed in X and Y!)

I have heard of people finding a Shiny right after another Shiny. Closest it has happened with me was this weekend when I found my Shiny Gastrodon then within 24 hours of that I found a Shiny Pinsir.
