it depends on the moves it has learned too, some moves only give you 3 hearts i believe and what not. but practice is good, there's no such thing as too much practice ...i think lol

Awesome! just feed it the right poffins, and its moves should fit what type of contest your entering, in this case a tough contest. Last of all, practice makes perfect ^-^ so practice, i think there are practice contests to master the certain parts of a contest, so its always good....hope i helped~
