I don't get how you think gamefreak promised you an OMG HARDER GAME LOL. I don't get how you think that because they didn't give you what you want, the games are ruined. That is why you're a dumbass.

They're not going to give whitney Lv25 pokemon if by the time you get to Goldenrod, the average players' pokemon will be around Lv16~20.

Higher levels =/= harder. You could have a team of Lv15s and fighting a gym leader's Lv19 pokemon would be pure hell.
