Weird.
It was on FireRed, and basically I just relied on pop culture for most of the nicknames I gave to my pokemon, so with Diglett I named it Hans after Hans Moleman from the Simpsons. Did you do the same?

Poliwrath isn't actually any sort of special pokemon. It's one of those pokemon who you realize are awesome when you think about them enough. On the other hand, Poliwrath fits my name pretty well.
