Here's an interesting fact about One Piece: when 4Kids announced they acquired the distribution rights, they also played an English version of "We Are", and it was actually pretty good. They took a few liberties with the lyrics, but it was fine. They decided to switch to an irritating but oddly catchy rap is because Kahn wanted everyone to know he can relate to young people.
