Also, from what I understand, the whole "eat 5 small meals" is just garbage and will have no effect on metabolism or weight loss. I have lost some serious weight over the past year through just monitoring my daily calorie intake and the nutrients I get in the course of a week. I have also incorporated physical activity into my daily routine.
Congrats. I am also recieving a college education. However, a few of your ideas on metabolism were absent from my education. Additionally, the folks at Mayo Clinic disagree with you.
