Heh, I'd say. You can never have too many shinies.

I'm still working on my dex but I care more about Pokemon I love rather than completing it. Just seems too masochistic for my liking.

I know what you mean about being overdue for bad luck, haha...whenever I get a shiny quickly, I always think that the next shiny will come in like 15,000 encounters/SRs. And then when I get a shiny that took a while to appear, I get a feeling like my next shiny will be quick to arrive. It's really a silly, superstitious thing!
