I'll check out the guide in a bit , but as for your latter idea sorry but no. It's a good idea in theory but it has been tried before and it gets cluttered up with spam and nonsense. If clan leaders see someone with a lot of potential it's not that hard to drop them a pm and ask if they'd like to join their clan anyway.
