• Hi all
    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

    Oh well, we'll get it right eventually, lol. I suppose knowing what kind of EVs to use on that future electivire would be best, but I doubt you'll need that information anytime soon, so I'll just let you figure it out on your own from my guide, unless you're impatient, but I doubt that since you've been completing the pokedex, and that takes a degree of fortitude. In any case, it'll belong to you before long. I imagine you don't want any nickname on it or dratini. I personally name my electivires, Electivile.

    Whoops, I lost track of the time. Can you trade now? Oh, and if you plan to actually use the elekid I give you, make sure to teach it thunderbolt, not thunder punch. The nature was picked solely for that, and there are several benefits that I don't feel like listing. In any case, that along with the two egg moves, are meant to be part of the move set for competitive play. I suggest flamethrower or earthquake for the last slot.

    Well it was there choice, but I suppose it was made that way if you let someone borrow a pokemon and it came back with a different name, you'd be a little annoyed right? That's about the only thing I can think they would do it for, or something along that line. Let me know when you can get back on.

    Sheesh that was fast. The mono-type restriction is truly crippling to the overall durability to my team. I did ask him to bring counters for steel, but I should have remembered he was no pushover to begin with. I lost, and bad, but I can trade now, sorry about all that.

    Yosh! You on man? I had me a battle earlier, so the wifi is working today. It doesn't handle cold weather so well for whatever reason. Anyway, if you're up to it, we can trade anytime. Oh, and I won the battle. It was a challenge of the E4, and I'm the first guy. I wished I could have gotten to use my sandstorm team, but it's still not ready.

    I go to pastoria and surf in the harbor. Lots of tentacool and tentacruel. What's annoying is the slow surf speed and wingull, which appears about 1/3 of the time, but there isn't really anywhere better. tentacool gives 1 EV, and cruel gives two. Combine that with the power item, and that's a total of 5 or 6. Then add the pokerus, and you get 10 or 12 EVs per kill. I'm aiming for 216, of which I already reduced by 100 with vitamins, and am steadily knocking the number down until it hits 0, then I'm done.

    lol, I overestimated a bit. I was thinking about 350 pokemon, but I finished the list and it comes to a total of 240 pokemon. Now that I've made the list, I'll make the EV sheets, and then I can start breeding. Of course, I still have to finish my gym team and E4 team, so I'll be starting with those, then go alphabetical. You wanna trade for staryu and camerupt now?

    Sounds good. I'm going to start breeding once I have everything in order, which won't be too long from now. The only problem I'm facing is storage. I'm going to end up with about 3 or 4 hundred pokemon, and the PC holds 540. I already have most of my boxes filled up though, so I'll need to put them on another cartridge. I have platinum, but I'll need someone as a go-between to trade to, and have trade them back to me on the other game.
