Honestly Vivillion annoyed me a lot more, since I don't like content that is specific to the user's real world location and you had to rely on trade to get other patterns. With Alcremie you at least can get the one you want in your own game.
That Alcremie's various "forms" are purely cosmetical. I think it would have been more fun if they each had a different secondary type, maybe depending on the type of sweet you give it to hold before evolution:
Strawberry: Pure Fairy
Love Sweet: Fairy/Psychic
It's nice how it kinda represents different sub-genres of Metal; like Obstagoon is kinda "80s hair metal" like, Corviknight is forboding-looking enough to be death metal, and G.Rapidash is symphonic metal.
For a dragon it would be nice to have a mythical/legendary that resembles the red dragon depicted on Runerigus' stone surface (which, if I'm not mistaken is inspired by the designs on runestones that the Vikings left in England?
On the gameboy colour Pokemon blue was mostly blue with some elements being red, while Pokemon Red was mostly red with some green elements.

But again, they couldn't very well make ghost immune to every form of physical attack, that would leave the type beyond broken.
So making ghost and normal immune towards each other is a good way to include the idea that the "mortal and spectral relam can't touch each other" without making Ghost...
I always figured Dragon being weak against itself was purely a gameplay thing; in the early gens Dragon was the "endgame" type, that's why it resists the starter types and is weak against itself, but hardly anything else.
What I don't get is why Dragon is weak against ice. The best I can...
Octopi can travel over land in a limited fashion. I mean we already have a couple of octopus pokemon. But we also have a buttload of dogs and cats etc.
I think an octopus-based Water Starter could be quite interesting. We don't quite have a "Release the Kraken!" Pokemon yet, and this could...
In as general terms as possible. I was looking for a more engaging/complete post-game storyline.
In more specific terms:
Maybe have some of the characters from the main storyline appear for more closure to their arcs (most of which died around Ballonlea)
Have the fights more optimized towards...
