well the darkrai is already cloned, but the guy I got it from wants UT event pokémon he doesn't have, so it's highly unlikely you have something he wants

there is no real glitch to cloning, when transfering pokémon e.g. gts, because it's moving a file, it copies the file then deletes it, so there is always going to be a way to clone because the file needs a place to copy from, so if you manage to turn it off when there is two files, like when trading or the gts there's a clone

well that's how cloning works, there are two "legit" ways;
turning off the game when trading (but you lose one of the pokémon)
or gts (safest way)
the gts doesn't work for most new events e.g. all legit darkrais and shaymins. search on you tube "pokémon gts cloning glitch" to see how to do it.
