Not to steer conversation away from Magearna, but I have a question about news I just learned about - the virtual console Generation I games that are soon to be released on the 3DS.
Does anyone know if (a) pokemon caught in the virtual games are transferable to other games and/or PokeBank? And...
I'm excited about this news for 2 reasons:
1) I hope, since the original R/S games had in-game events, that the new games will be a return to in-game event storylines. There was just something awesome about actually battling and catching a darkrai or deoxys after unlocking a secret area or...
I just heard about about the Celebi event coming up for the new PokeBank.
At first, I was like, "eh thats pretty cool - buy I still have a pretty boss Celebi from the HG/SS event."
Then I saw that the OT is going to be our trainer names! As someone trying to collect all pokemon, and have them...
At first blush, I would say I would rather be a Pokemon Master - primarily because gym leaders are restricted to a single type.
It would be so frustrating to be a fire-type gym leader, and have trainers with water-type pokemon coming in day-in and day-out just wrecking you over and over.
Makes sense if they are moving away from Ash and towards Red - we may finally have a trainer capable of "catching them all" (absent legendaries, I assume).
As someone who is still striving to "catch them all", I approve.
I'm just a casual gamer, but on a whim I decided to train an OU Sandstorm Team. I only worried about nature an EV spread, as I have no idea how the RNG software actually works (I've downloaded it twice now but can't figure it out). And you know what? I had a blast crafting my first official...
I hope so - I've been waiting for a Jirachi that I didn't have to acquire through a trade.
The fact that it is a wi-fi event, and not somd localized business give-away, I believe makes it more likely that the event will go global.
I like what I've seen from this new gen thus far - especially the Pokemon-ami (sp?) feature. It isn't as cool as having your pokemon walking beside you everywhere, but at least you get SOME interaction with them outside battling (and dressing my Palkia in a bow tie doesn't count as interaction)...
I like lizard, just because its a bit different.
The panda pokemon that is fighting-type will probably involve into Kung-Fu Panda.
I assume your robin pokemon is just your classic, quick-evolving route 1 bird.
I'm not really in love with the look of the goat, but can see its evolution being...
So I saw the news about the Pokemon TV app for iphones and downloaded it.
It looks fantastic and the videos stream at a pretty high quality, but there's one problem - there's no sound! Anyone else have this issue?
No matter which episode I click on or how much I crank my volume, I don't get...
Wow - I really like the inclusion of Mewtwo! Maybe we'll get some backstory on what mewtwo has been up to these past years.
Does the subject matter for the movie have anything to do with the games? Because I would also enjoy encountering mewtwo (and possibly even mew?) in X/Y as well!
I'm glad we're finally getting the last piece to the Gen V puzzle, but am I the only person who misses event pokemon that are catchable in-game via a special ticket/pass?
For me, it's just much more satisfying to actually encounter and catch the event pokemon myself - rather than merely...
So I had never played R/S/E before and wanted to try a solo nuzlock challenge. My run with Blaziken was going swimmingly, until I ran up against the Champion's freaking Rain Dance team.
Seriously? A ran dance team? It makes picking the fire starter completely absurd :(
