to add them, it will say edit your friends, i think thats it, then it should so your friends at the top and the friend request at the bottom. There should be a little clikcy thing abouve the persons picture, click it and then go down to where it says accept this friend request, then go to save or something like that.

Actually,it is a glitch.
And unfortunately,the new DP games do NOT have this glitch as Nintendo Fixed it.
