Actually, it's not that I don't like to watch them - Naruto and Bleach remain some of my favorite animes. I enjoy the relatively complex storylines and the battles. It's just that that can get a little tedious at times, and lighter, more romance-y material like Lucky Star and Chobits is a nice break from that. ^^

Yes, Lucky Star is hilarious. I also like how each episode can be watched on its own since the storyline isn't too grounded. So far I've only gone up to episode 11 but my favorite is #3. The ponytail part is just too funny. XD

I have never heard of those, but I'll have to check them out. Lately I have been trying to broaden my anime horizons, namely get away from the monotony of Naruto and Bleach. XD And watching more "girly"-ish animes does that for me, I guess.
