    Ash already has a Mythical (Melmetal) who is strong. Buy if he needs a Legendary this season, it should be Kubfu. It suits him to a T.

    Reflect and Light Screen are upgraded Protect. I think that changed in DP.

    Snorlax won't be good against Dark Void. Melmetal would be a good choice against Latios because he's a Mythical and can resist both Dragon and Psychic.
