Me: Sorry, I meant Anthony! ^^; It's long ago we talked to each other, a couple years ago, so I forgot your name for a moment! ^^; But is mine Charmander Shiny? :3
Charmander: *sleeping on my head, he is lying at my head, snoring, sleeping* Chaaaar...mander...Chaaaar...mander...
ya the wii and 3DS were 250 at launch. the game boy line has always been 100-150, the gamecube was 200, and the n64 i believe was 300. i dont know how much the nes or super nintendo cost, but i would guess 200-250, only because they came with extra stuff, unlike some of the other systems. but 350 plus tax is still cheaper than the ps3. 599 us dollars? not in this lifetime. i know its not 599 us dollars anymore, but still, thats an insane launch price.
i wasnt sure if my mom could get me the deluxe model for xmas, so i took it into my own hands. with tax, it was about 375$, which i think is the most expensive nintendo system ever. so for xmas i asked for things like the wii u pro controller, and a protective case for the gamepad.
theres two models, the basic one is 300$, comes in white, with 8 GB of internal storage. The deluxe one is 350$, comes in black, has 32GB of storage, includes a stand for the system and gamepad, and comes with Nintendo Land. personally, i recommend holding out for the deluxe model. but if you absolutely must have it for xmas, the basic one will probably be easier to find.
