no problem...my first shiny was a random ecounter shiny tentacool but accendently got erased when i started a new game...forgot what version he was in my sapphire and ruby...

Did you have a rubber band or tape around your L and R buttons? The "glitch" is what happens when those buttons are held down in battle.
