Get ready to dislike every future Pokémon game then. The more new pokémon get introduced, the more transferring is gonna be required and moving the national dex to Bank was a pretty logical move (now we're nearing 800 pokémon) that's not likely to be reversed any time soon.
Almost factually incorrect looking at the sales.
OT: If you're looking for an explanation as to why this section isn't exactly bustling; forums in general are on a decline and USUM (as much as I love them) aren't all that different from SM compared to BW2, hence the lack of material to discuss...
Buy Ultra, has everything Sun and Moon have + a bunch of new feature to keep you busy. The only thing you will miss out on from SM is the zygarde cell quest and the ending of the story, but you can watch that on youtube.
Well of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, though I wouldn't go as far as saying GF didn't put their best effort into them. We will never know whether they did or didn't.
For those saying it doesn't look like they missed out by not buying them judging from a few negative voices...
I gotta say that I couldn't disagree more. Yes, the story being mostly the same up until the end also bothered me a bit and overall I preferred the Sun/Moon storyline, but that doesn't mean these games were a 'greater offense of copy/paste' than any generation before, seeing as USUM introduced...
I don't think anybody can really give you a clear answer on that as it will ultimately come down to your personal opinion. For me they became my favorite Pokémon games yet and felt more like what Pokémon should be, as they try harder to make the creatures feel like actual living beings. My only...
I'm a bit confused as to how it works. It seems to me that since I got Sun, I should now get UltraMoon for Lunala and other exclusives, but I've seen people reasoning that since they got Sun, they should get UltraSun. As far as I'm aware this isn't a BW2 situation where Black 2 was actually the...
While I do have issues with the lack of post-game ever since the series jumped to 3DS, Sun is the first game since perhaps Platinum where I managed to reach 200 hours of gameplay. The playthrough was my favorite in a Pokémon game yet. The story was great, the music amazing, good characters +...
It sounds even cooler than it looks! Dat epic music!
I'm not giving up hope yet, we still have more than a month to go, with at least one mid-month update.
Well there's a lot of personal opinions and assumptions in there. I for one loved trials and would rather have each new region do their own thing rather than having gyms back. While there's definitely plenty of people who thought they were too easy, there's plenty of people who enjoyed them as...
Serebii Joe made a pretty interesting chart comparing what we knew about previous third instalments/sequels about 1,5 months before release. Note how the PWT in BW2 hadn’t been revealed yet. Very likely we got another big thing coming for...
He's not implying they're sequels though. It seems highly unlikely to me that in a generation where the storyline entirely revolves around alternate dimensions, that they will pull a 'SM's story never existed in USUM' without even the slightest mention. I'm willing to bet right here, right now...
The marketing campaign is infinitely better than the one for the last true 'third' version we got aka Platinum. People just aren't used to it anymore, especially after how much SM's marketing campaign spoiled us with bi-weekly updates, which is something you can't really expect for games that...
We got this trailer at the end of the month as well didn’t we? Fairly certain we’ll get 2 more updates, Corocoro + extra trailer. They also started revealing stuff pretty late, so I would do anything but bet on there not being anything big when Corocoro drops
