XY made it a little too easy with EXP ALL, but if you turn it off it's still fine.
Battle Frontier trainers are harder, people who think Red is stronger must be on drugs lol. I'm mostly into JRPGs and racing.
Some type of leveling up is nice, but don't make it a pain.
