  • I may be thinking too much about this, but I imagined it'd be a prefix one attaches to the word of an item or situation which they associate with pain/suffering. Such as "Ferrolabos" - Rotten job, or "Ferromatrona" - Failing marriage

And yes, you could breed one, with the right parents.
Or if you mean me RNGing you one, you'll have to wait
Until then, why don't you attempt to rewrite part of the Latin dictionary?

"Ferrum" means Iron, but they should also include "Ferro-" seperately, as a prefix which symbolises pain
Oh! Just found the Joltik spread I need... in Encounter Slot 5.
Goddamn, Ferroseed's trolling me even off the batttlefield!!
Well, if you thinks that's best, man.
Unless the information that the Dittos are also Japanese will drive you to overcome your shyness, I'll message you when I get back
Ah well. I can tell you from personal experience that the only way to overcome anxiety about situations like this is to just go for it & socialise. That being said, I still have to tell myself this on many occasions...

(BTW I fixed your post on the Rain Team thread :p)
I assume you were in Route 9? The only explanation I can think of is that your PID frame was just slightly off, which may have been due to yourself or to moving NPCs.

RNG works pretty much the same for breeding as it does in the wild, really.
It used to be a bit complicated, but the latest RNG Reporter's Shiny Egg Finder has made it alot smpler :)
If you want a shiny flawless (or near-flawless), I'd recommend breeding. Especially if you have flawless parents. Although the NPCs outside the daycare make your frame unstable so it usually takes a couple tries to get right
I'm finding shiny flawless eggs SO much easier to do. And at the beginning, I never imagined I'd say that...
But a customer asked for a wild shiny near-flawless HP Ice Joltik, which I've been hunting since Monday now. This is ridiculous
Well I've been having severe trouble RNGing wild flawless pokemon lately, but I've received a few flawless ones in trades. (Which I've had hack checked)

It's Timid & Jolly you wanted, right?
