At least you're honest with yourself. But you won't find me as easy to beat as Glover or Blazi. The trouble with monotype teams is that you are stuck with several glaring weaknesses, and it has become my policy to finish off opponents in matches where I can capitalize on wildcards, before I'm backed into a corner.
But even then, my use of a sun team has helped corner both my weakness to water, ground, and rock, by nerfing water moves (as you saw with surf), and by granting me access to infinite free solarbeams. At this stage in the game, I even have provisions for Drizzle. The fact of the matter is, what happens during battle is important, but going into battle properly prepared with no less than three strategies, a proper team, and hold items, can all but decide the battle for you.
