    Right so with the outline:

    Gary then runs into the one from snowpoint city.
    It finally gets Gary to accept his crush on Ash.

    By this point, since Ash is really dumb, he's already completely convinced his conscious self that he likes Dawn. But all throughout their relationship he finds something to be out of place, but he can't put his finger on it.
    Dawn has tried to kiss him, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it for some reason.
    Gary doesn't pick up on this, and continues to lose hope day by day (aww.... I'm such a cruel person :[)
    Ash notices his BFF is getting depressed, and they start talking.
    *replay of scene from end of 5th season*
    except this time a pokemon symbolizing love appears while they're talking (which would be..... *help?*)

    Right so Ash convinces himself that he's in love with Dawn and they start a relationship.

    They run into Gary, and since he's going back to Pallet too, he decides to stick along.
    Umm to be continued again I'm thinking so much my brain's gonna implode.

    Anyway so here's the basic outline of the fic I suppose.

    AshxDawnxBrock traveling together as usual.
    Ash gets top 4 in the Sinnoh league.
    On their way back home, they encounter one of the 3 lake guardians.
    It'll be the one Dawn saw in Ep1.
    It finally forces Dawn to accept her feelings for Ash.
    She decides to approach Ash, who has nothing for her.
    But she becomes so "loving" Ash convinces himself that he likes her because
    1. She's nice.
    2. He's (umm we'll say 14 cuz I'm 14 and I'm awesome) 14 and he's never had a girlfriend.
    3. He's afraid of the others' reactions if he comes out of the closet.
