It's an academic scholarship worth $30k over three years + $2500 student exchange grant + $5k a year for 'student allowance' and some other things, all at the top uni in Australia, so it's all pretty good (Y) You were in college and were doing teaching, weren't you? Almost done with that then?

Haha, well I feel like there were many typos on that exam... kept getting answers that were close to the choices but not spot on. For one I got 52 and all the choices were 54, 55, 56, and 58.

You should come (at a time where there's peace)! There's another ceasefire at the moment, so things are quite calm (unlike in November when we kept running for shelters whenever the warning sirens went off). That said, they just had their elections last week so everyone's getting used to the new political climate. I've been here since September, and it's been a really educational five months. That's cool that your friends lived here - do you know where they stayed? Were they Jewish, out of curiosity? (Also, there are many inexpensive organized trips to Israel you may be able to look into, especially if you're Jewish.)
