True, when we are kids even smallest kind of things can amaze us, leave us excited and all hyped up. But as we grow up, mature and experience what responsibility and things which come with life when your adult comes within, your way of perceiving things and thoughts change.

Although recipe for happier, more fulfilling life my friend lies in looking forward to small things which life gives us daily not taking them for granted. Because big, spectacular twists and events which bring ecstasy wont happen very often leaving you only despondent and lost in your thoughts of what could have been and what you should have done to make your life better.

In nutshell we should just take best out of every situation and what life gives to us, if you catch my drift?

Yeah summers are usually slow paced and abit more carefree. But i dont mind, Summer is easily my favorite season of year haha. Because of good weather, beaches, relaxing, more bright atmosphere etc.
Now im not a slacker lol, i just prefer when things flow in stress free, less hasty way.XD

Oh speaking of devil, i watched that episode too and it left very positive trace on me. I was thoroughly impressed at how much effort, energy and interest was put in start of whole Summer arc. Comprised of hilarious, full of jokes and enjoyable, harmonic interactions between characters. Serena starting to recollect on her joirney and what exactly shes been doing so far, starting to think of her own future and dreams to pursue. Innovative,out of place plots like Squirtle doing breakdance(i think it was breakdance, meh not sure) leaving Ash all fascinated and enthusiastic like child is over some candy, Clemont being al timid and worried over appearing on internet in funny costume during pokevision video etc.

Also is it just me or Jessie looked kinda strange in that episode? Haha.

Who knows, maybe start of Summer arc might signalize writers taking this show and characters in higher gear. Nothing is lost just yet.

Sometime life can fall down in rut moving at slow speed, but thats normal. And sometime desierable lol, to have more peaceful, relaxing pace you go with.

Same here, upcoming Summer arc episode, possible rivalry between Serena and Shauna, Tierno and Trevor appearing as well with their Squirtle and Charmander. All three send vibe of friends which travel together and it would be unexpected and interesting if they end up being rivalry group which sometime bump into Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie causing certaion tension, strife and more dynamic interactions.

Yeah i know its sad that Misty was portrayed like she is unhappy, even despondent about it in some episodes like "Date with Delcatty" complaining how useless her sisters are and how she has to stay there and help them out. In her first cameo in Hoenn Misty even said how she had lot of fun being with Ash and Brock again and would like to stick around, but have to go back and help sisters out. In her last cameo she is visibly frustrated and displeased sharing with Max her issues and wishing her sisters would understand her and have someone to count on.

I think i know reasoning behind this too. They on purpose showed Misty coming back out of obligation and necessity to Cerulean showing through chronicles how she never gave up from her water master dream.
Because at that time when Hoenn aired they probably werent sure how would new girl May be accepted among people(afterall many older fans abandoned show when Misty left and things were quite touchy back than), so writers purposely left story open with Misty to allow easier way to return her back in case they decide to do more with her keeping her as back up plan. But as time went on and May became liked enough amoing fans gaining lot of support they decided to continue adding new girls they didn't bothered or forgot of finishing what they started about character. Much to our dismay sadly.

Hopefully with new director in charge of series Tetsuo Yajima they will realize how much people like older characters, want them back and recognize potential behind their return. Increasing continuity, making plot more exciting through siuch surprises and strengthen stroryline which without history, connection to past and acknowledgment of what happened bewfore is show without identity.

About May, poor girl. Finally Ruby, Sapphire long awaited remakes come out and now her voice actor is unavailable. That makes me sad. Writers do sometime hire new voice actors though, like they did for Jessie VA temporary when being on maternity leave or when Giovanni VA died employing new one. And Japan viewers didn't complained understanding why this had to be done given circumstances.

This is best opportunity to bring May back and if writers miss ouit even on this opportunity than i dont know what to say.

Its ironic actually, writers dont hesitate in bringing back past gym leaders like Jasmine or Clair, previous one shot characters like Jessibelle, ancient old pokemon like Charizard, recurring characters from past like Looker,Butch and Cassidy etc. Ruvals like Gary and possibly now Paul. But real deal, older ex main characters they constantly ignore which is very, very bad strategy only decreasing people respect for writers work and anime popularity.

p.s.Your family is right. I mean you worked hard, had lot of renunciation and effort invested in studying , working, volunteering etc to succeed and get where your now. Now its time to enjoy a little in fruits of your labour dedicating some time for yourself, friends and just fun. You deserved it, so now relax, party and do things you werent able to because of work and obligations taking more easy approach. And once summer is over, recharged, renewed and rested step into new challenges, responsibilities and work life has set infront of you going at full steam.

I know, right? I even mentioned couple of scenarios through which Misty could help Serena in how to be more independent, strongwilled and motivated through her adventurous, headstrong and fiery nature(Misty still has that sass and spunk she only dont have that vilent side anymore expressing flare in more teenage like, mature way). Even temper still shows up against Hanson, Psyduck or Daisy resorting to verbal condlicts and outmsarting others rather than punching them developing higher brink of tolerance hahaha(well its true).

And i know what you mean gal. Misty leaving was really aggravating and unjustified.Writers came up with half assed excuse of sisters leaving suddenly on road trip, forcing Misty literally to stop her joirney and pursuing dreams of becoming water master. Misty clearly didn't wanted to leave even crying in that episode being all upset.

But irony doesnt end here, heh. In chronicles writers on purpose showed Misty upset and sad about her current situation at gym complaining about sisters incompetence and wishing she has someone to rely on. Strongly implyingh desire to go travel again, explore new regions, pokemon and enter new tournaments to develop bew techniques. Meet powerful water experts and advance her dream of becoming water pokemon master, top water trainer in wiorld living up to her idol E4 Lorelei. For which gym isn't enough, far from it being one of reasons why Misty even left on journey during time she met Ash. Being already gym leader and still leaving it because of wanting to become more than a leader.


Its like writers on purpose left whole situation with Cerulean and Misty future undefined. Not being known in what direction she will go given how she was portrayed as person which wants to travel again not giving up on water master career, but at same time feeling duty to take care of gym until substutute is found or things become less problematic.
With follow up just never happening sadly.

Kalos is based on France with Misty dreaming and fantasizing to visit Paris enjoying to travel, explore new places and cultures being in heart adventurer and restless spirit just like Ash. And if sisters became more reliable you can bet she would travel more to explore world and advance her dreams.

Oh well, writers may not have any respect for you Misty. But you wont be forgotten by fans.

Although i heard from people around here how Maasaki Iwane when answering to fan questions implied that Paul may be coming back at some point in XY series, expressing desire himself to see him back.

I at least have some reasonable hope of seeing May again, especially when unlike in HGSS they kept orginal female protagonist from games this time around.

Whats really interesting is how Serena has quite a few similarities with both May and Misty delivering foundation on which exciting, full of flare and sweet interactions dynamic.

I wish May returns for at least 5 to 8 episodes. Show new pokemon, learn how tomega evolve maybe one of them, enjoy in her bubbly, sweet and slightly temperament side when food is in question or someone takes advantage of her.

Give us update on her journey in Johto, witness how much things changed for her. What new interests, personality traits and skills she learned and develop during all thius time.
Yeah i miss that girl being my second favorite female lead in entire series.

About Misty i dont expect much, if anything. Its like writers dislike her avoiding on every opportunity to bring this poor girl back. When even Mayumi IIzuka feel saddened over Misty future in this show it says alot.

Shame because shes one of most believable and complex characters in pokemon brimming with great personality, sense for adventure, playful irrevereness, down to earth attitude and fiery, sassy nature not letting others to put her down. All mixed with also very optimistic, interested in romance and tenderness demeanor showing to be quite shy and insecure under that tough, more headstrong demeanor of hers. I mean E4 Siebold is basically water master which could take her maybe even as apprentice after Misty impressing him with skills in tournament organized by him, she went through lot of trouble with Gyarados working hasrd to earn its thrust and through mega evolution she could come to understanding how to truly understand water pokemon feelings and hearts. Developing closer bond which is imperative in becoming water master and top mono specialist.

XY series are so so for me too. Not much special .Clemont is pretty goopd as character, Bonnie is ok, Serena pretty mediocre while Ash is still character i like and enjoy into. Having imo nice balance between his mature, more wise side mixed with his childish, naive and at times impatient demeanor.

Though disrespect toward past, previous characters(like poor Misty, May, many others) not acknowledging their legacy, unfinished stories and impact the left along with pretty static plot with nothing suistantual going on in XY so far makes Kalos saga mediocre at best. Not to mention group dynamic is very monotone and static at moment being way too happy go lucky and peaceful for my taste.

Ah thats a bummer. I guess it got lost in transition somewhere lol. Yeah i heard about RS remakes and im hoping this could foreshadow long awaited return of May. Its perfect opportunity to bring her back, promote idea of contests in regions they dont exist, showcase new pokemon and how much things changed for her. Maybe even bring Max. I know writers blew it with MIsty during HGSS and BW2 World Cup gamewise ignoring her like trash(theyll probably igbnore hr for XY too despoite existing so many great reasons to have her go there).

But it would be travesty if May got passed on as well as representative of third gen and its heroine. And with new director in charge for anime(i think hes called Tetsuo Yajima), games and pokemon company seem to be paying more attention to older fans through throwbacks to Kanto, Charizard return, creation of Origins, 4kids songs and theme being used in XY etc. Is giving me somewhat of hope in things changing with ex main characters receiving follow up and chance for us to enjoy in their story, quirks and great personalities.

Yeah its good that you dont relax too much, though make sure to take some time for yozurself. To enjoy in hobbies and other things which you like recharging batteries. That way you can rested and refreshed better get down to new obligations but also enjoy in life in meantime. With not everything passing through hurry and work.

I see then, the show has been awful since BWS2 started. DP was alright in some areas, XY is 50/50. Yeah, I hope it gets better soon. I'm big fan of contests too, they were really fun to watch, sometimes even better than gym battles.

Thank you for your kindness and good wishes. Yeah me and my family will be fine being able to cope with it. Dying is always tragic, especially if someone close to you passes away, but with time we learn how to alleviate pain and sadness finding inner strength and motivation to keep going forward.

Like they say "time heals all wounds" or at least most of them.

Haha i can already imagine that you must be very jumpy and nervous "feeling butterflies in stomach". Thats perfectly normal my friend. You worked hard and put lot of effort and renunciation to succeed and get where your standing now, with time coming that you reap fruits of your labour enjoying in achievement. Be proud and happy with your graduation; This is your time, your 10 minutes of glory. Because even though one chapter of your life is coming to an end, new one filled with exciting adventures, new interesting people and adventures is waiting ahead of you.

Lol your telling me, im 28 approaching my thirties. I remember like it was yesterday when i went to high school, college(never finished it due to turmoils and new obligations in my life, though i can always go back and retry) and got my first job.

Ah sweet memories, time passes away really fast. Before you know it your already old man with cane. Ok, ok im starting to dramatize lol, but i think you get the point kinda. Making you more aware of beauty youth provides learning to appreciate all those fun moments, your best years and time spent with family, friends and activities your doing which fulfill you as person.

Unfortunately nothing lasts forever and aging cannot be stopped often not having enough time to do everything we wanted with some of our dreams staying unfulfilled, but its important to live your life to fullest making best use of it. So that you can look back on past and remember things with smile and satisfaction on your face not regretting for anything.

I can't believe it passed so much time already. Sorry for not talking to you sooner, but i had pretty rough streak lately. Had family issues, was in search for new job, my Grandma died and all around it wasn't pleasant. But thats part of life as well i guess making you gain new experience and find strength in coping with obstacles and bad moments put infront of you, in order to move forward and come out as stronger out of it.
