Thanks, man. I also appreciate your posts in GCT, and also your being a football fan around here (although I feel like you prefer college football, which I really only follow to look at NFL prospects -- I don't even have a favorite team). But yeah, feels like everything comes back to the GCT, huh?

Thanks man! It's nice to see the GCT thread staying alive! Yeah, I follow CFB a bit more. I do enjoy the NFL, though. I'm a Lions fan, so my experience with the NFL is usually full of heartbreak and disappointment unfortunately. Lol.

Oh man, you even wrote this before that brutal Monday Night meltdown. Belichick is great, but his coaching tree is terrible. I thought if one of them could buck the trend, it would be Patrica, but he's not off to a good start. He wanted a running identity, but Stafford is averaging 50 throws. Same stuff they've been doing for years.

Yeah, that game was brutal and then they just lost to the 49ers on Sunday as well. The Lions are 0-2 already. I was just thinking the same thing. The Lions haven't had a running identity in years. Their last 1000 yard rusher was Reggie Bush. That's crazy.

And then they beat the Patriots, and have a 100-yard rusher in the same night. It's hard to tell if teams run because they're winning, or they win because they're running, but it probably isn't coincidence that they won with a balanced run:pass ratio. 1-2 isn't great, but man, that division looks wide open right now.

My mind is blown right now! In week 1 the Lions looked horrible. In week 2 the Lions almost won. In week 3 they just played a complete game and beat a Dynasty Patriots team. I'm lost for words. The NFC North is very wide open. The Bears are even in 1st place. What a season so far.

I just don't know how a team loses to the Jets, 49ers, and Cowboys, but beats the Patriots and Packers. They should beat the Dolphins and Seahawks in the next couple weeks, but the way they're going, they'll probably lose those and then knock off the Rams. That division isn't looking any clearer after two weeks.
