I kinda liked it for that tbh. Gen 8 story was very uninteresting so kinda like how the majority of the game you can just focus on the gyms.

A fun nostalgia romp but not a game I will ever play again tbh, if I ever wanna play Sinnoh again it will be base games. Worst pokemon game though? Probably up there since it was a 1:1 remake all the work was done for Ilca, yet the game was full of bugs and glitches.

And the follow up to this? Takeover a radio tower in another region and hope their old boss comes back lol

If there are gyms I hope to Arceus that they ditch each gym leader focusing on a specific type that's always been so stupid. Hopefully they go the Raihan route for all leaders where he had non Dragon's and focused on a strategy. Otherwise I'd rather they do something different like in Gen 7.

I just hope they don't go the ridiculous SuMo approach (since like that ScVi is also the 2nd game in a console) they overwhelmed us so much with info with that game... not much new mons were left to be discovered /:

Does any one else think some of the official artwork looks off this gen? Weird poses and anatomy (like the rival her knees and leg make no sense) Like for me the starters looked so much better in game (usually people often say the other way around!)

It seems to me GF know exactly what they're doing then cuz wasn't Wooloo one of the first SwSh revealed too? Also similar with H Growlithe everyone seemed to lose their minds over that too

I mean they were? They revealed the Dexit thing at the treehouse event which was only a few week after the second trailer and pre orders started. Doesn't get much more upfront than that.

Like Wooloo I don't understand the Lechonk hype at all. It's a sheep and pig there is nothing special in their designs at all? Like Pawmi is a mouse but doesn't look like a mouse. Idk.

Oh absolutely the Zygarde Cells, Totem Stickers, Alolan Diglett and then the wisps. I do like that aspect they've added. I imagine it would be like PLA where we have missions or goals (and side quests) and then gym challenge being it's own thing. So I wonder if one can do all 8 gyms and then...

Gen5 was the last gen you were kinda forced to use gimmicks (battle rotation, triple battles), but since then you have the option to not use Mega, ZM, or Dynamax if you don't want too so as long as Gen9 is like that, I don't see the issue? I suppose it's like card games to keep them going they...

Something interesting I recently discovered that for SwSh they didn't plan on overworld encounters and only integrated them due to the positive response from LGPE. So I wonder if somethings they didn't intended to keep from Legends may actually make their way over like the catch mechanic

Yeah I am probably in the minority that prefers mono starters. I just hope it isn't mixed like Gen 1, 3 & 5 either make them all secondary or all Mono
