Has anyone figured out the Pseudo-legendary yet? I'm SO excited for them (that's the only leak I'm treating myself to, along with the starters final evolutions).
I don't know. Megaevolutions make Pokemon seem much more like Digimon. I'm definitely an anti-'genwunner', but the fact is that this change isn't really that needed. All of the former Pokemon do pretty well (bar Mawile) without a 'Mega Evolution'.
It just seems cheesy, gimmicky, and...
If Fairy is immune to Dragon (like some *sources* claimed), then a Fairy/Dragon type would be awesome...and coupled with a pseudo-legendary powerhouse Multiscale Dragonite...
Man, if it would be Swoobat's evolution that would be...epic.
I do think that there'll be another type released, possibly nerfing Fighting (Fighting and Dragon are the most OP types right now competitively) and another Eeveelution to correspond with that type. That's only based on speculation...
I still don't like that they had to name it "Fairy" type. Sure, yeah, cool, but the name still sounds pretty silly. Heck, even Faerie - a slight variation - or something like (gasp) Light type would sound better in my opinion.
I mean doesn't a Mewtwo forme as a Fairy type sound a bit weird to...
I can definitely see all the "Fairy" Legendary Pokemon (Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy...and Victini) being retyped to Fairy from Psychic. Anyways, Fairy seems to be the perfect counter for Dragon, much like Dark was for Psychic in Gen 1...I wonder if it's enough for dragons to stop being a...
Perhaps learning a move causes EXP. points too? That would mean a huge change, since you'd want to learn even the weaker moves...or maybe you get more EXP. points based on the moves you/your opponents use?
I'm definitely not your typical RBY fanboy, but I have to admit, I'm really disappointed that this was the new announcement. I was just thinking that Mewtwo is pretty cool - 5 generations without a change, and yet it looks slick and powerful without being too physically imposing - and now it's...
But unless Froakie was Water/Electric, that would give Froakie a huge advantage over Fennekin...Fire/Ground is 4x weak to Water, and I don't think they would really give such a huge advantage to him as the starters are usually supposed to be balanced in some way O-o
I think that the Type charts are pretty much good as they are. Sure, Poison is vastly underpowered in its offense because it's only SE against Grass, but a lot of Poison types have good diversity in their movepools or, at least, have a second type combination to take advantage of. If I could...
Yeah, that's almost definitely flying. The simple fact of the scarves flying in the wind and the clear blue sky eyes...I'm pretty sure it's Flying ever since I looked at it the first time.
I'm not too much a fan of Ninfia (though the name is certainly interesting - a play on nymph?) but I...
Leveled up all my Pokes to level 50 for the 7th gym. Hope I'm not too overleveled...but I'm worrying about that Dragon gym, as only Walrein has AURORA BEAM and the even inferior Ice Fang to do SE to the dragons in there. Flygon still hasn't learned a Dragon move, so I can't wait for Dragon Claw...
Right this is pretty much nothing but I just noticed a few more things:
- Alright, so when Chespin is sent out on the bottom left corner there are TWO Pokeballs instead of 6. Since it is obvious that the trainer has so few Pokemon, it is most likely that Magikarp is found EARLY GAME.
-...
AHAHAH! I was just about to post on how hard it is to catch a Lapras after more than an hour of searching but then I JUST caught it! On my first try! With a netball. Just one Poke'ball and POP! WOOOOOOOOH!
Or Chespin could have the shell become some sort of spinning thing, as in Che-spin. Heh.
Anyways, just because I like comparing, favorite starters:
Gen 1: Bulbasaur
Gen 2: Chikorita
Gen 3: Torchic OR Mudkip. I dunno. I loved all the starters in this gen. Perhaps Torchic wins out just by a...
Alright, let me put out another theory for Chespin. As my favorite XY starter, I was wondering; every single Grass starter uses special features as part of their weapon in their fully evolved form; i.e. Bulbusaur's bloom for Venasaur's Solarbeam charges, Chikorita's leaf for Meganium's...
This almost surely has been pointed out before, but I think it's useful to point out that Xerneas and Yveltal are animals that usually have some relation to life and death. Yveltal, as a vulture that, though perhaps a bit unfairly, is still connected to death in many cultures while Xerneas, a...
Caught Timid Cobalion on my first try! I didn't realize it would be just waiting on Route 14 :P
Better restock on Poke'balls (read: Dusk/UltraBalls). Dusk Balls are AWESOME
Eh. It's not exactly super special news; only Bulbasaur was dual type from the beginning (Grass/Poison) and I also took it for granted...but yeah, I think the real surprise here was if they weren't single pure types.
Bah.
