Managed to go for a little walk today, approximately 1 km, and nearly hatched one of my eggs. Hit pretty much all the pokestops in town, as well as took over one of the gyms. I was going to attempt to take over the second one, but the pokemon's CPs were a bit too high to attempt it right away...

Today was another way too hot to go outside kind of day, but I cranked the AC in my car, and defeated one of the gyms in my town and claimed it. I then took a drive to the lake up my road to see if I could find some water pokemon, but my phone hit a dead zone, and I lost internet connectivity...

I just evolved my Pidgeotto into a Pidgeot today, and all I got was 500 XP.

This has been happening to me too, although I've had no issue reconnecting after closing the app, so it doesn't seem to be a connection issue, at least not for me. Missed out on many Pokemon because of it, so I turned off the battery saving mode for the time being.

Hit 3 pokestops yesterday. Got two 5km eggs the first 2 stops, and none at the 3rd stop. I was level 3-4 when I got them. All pokestops (6) in my town are clustered in the same area, so we'll see how distribution works for me when the weather is nicer and I get a chance to go for a walk there.

I was going to get DK: TF, but while waiting for the website to finally work, I started thinking I would get more gameplay out of MK7 in the long run. There were a few VC titles that I would have liked, but I'd rather get a full retail game for free instead of a cheap one.
