I don't think Riolu belongs to Unova. First off, you find him in a ranch, full with pokémon from other regions. Second, he is rare in there. In his native place he should be at least common.

If you really want to get an in-game+competitive team, I would suggest you Emboar, Zangoose, Flygon, Stoutland, Arcanine and Zoroark. Toxic Boost + Toxic Orb Zangoose instakills pretty much every pokémon with Facade. Heck, with one Swords Dance he might get up to 900 attack. Choice Scarf...

Sorry dude, but my Zoroark never misses his Night Daze. Keep Night Daze, it deals more damage than Dark Pulse and the accuracy loss may hinder even the scariest of the opponents. Guess how my Zoroark managed to defeat Cynthia's Garchomp at the same level?
