The stat distribution is great, and that's what sets it apart from Mewtwo, Rayquaza, etc. Although considering Groudon/Kyogre get a hefty +50 boost to their over attacking stat, I don't thin mega gigigas will be broken if GF applies the same logic. I mean, it would be banned in most places...
Despite what the franchise's message might be, statistically you cannot just get 6 random pokemon and become the champion. A trainer aiming to become stronger is undoughtedly going to use stronger pokemon. That doesn't mean they just abandoned their other pokemon, but I don't get why people...
Oh boy. Here's to hoping they make postgame (mythical) legend quests a normal thing. Now please tell me they done SOMETHING, even just background lore for Jirachi. Honestly, how are they going to top this in the next Kalos game? Maybe go back in time or something.
Let's not try to make patters where there is no precedence for them. There is noting to suggest that GF is looking to have one off each type of starters have the Dragon type, and by that logic we should be waiting for the Venusaur and Blastoise second mega evolutions. I'm not saying a mega...
I'll start with your conclusion just to iron out a misunderstanding. I'm not arguing normal rapidsh should be a fairy, but rather a potential mega that is much more heavily unicorn in appearance should.
Yes but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Yes GF isn't and hasn't been logical and...
Are you referring to type changes? If so well yes that's true but all of them aside from maybe Ampharos have made sense. With regards to the fairy type in particular they've only added it to 2 pokemon so I don't see why a third would be an issue.
Considering Azumarill, a rabbit/rat/mouse, is considered a fairy I see no reason why a unicorn shouldn't be considered a fairy. Fire/Fairy with pixilate would be great, and between Mega Pinsir, Mega Salamence and Mega Pidgeot, I tihnk we have enough flying typed megas for now. Besides, we've...
To be fair Wallys character has changed. He's now going from a 'weak, fidgety boy' to '[you] inspire him to grow into a strong trainer'. His team reflects this, and the changes are:
-Evolved his Magneton
-Evolved his Roselia
-Swapped out Gardevoir for (mega) Gallade
-Replaced Delcatty and...
GF looks firstly at popularity, but they do look at viability as well. It just so happens that many (not most or all, many) popular pokemon are also powerful like Mewtwo or Lucario. Something like mega audino or beedrill wouldn't exist if GF only looked at popularity.
That's what I'm saying, they probably will leave off the shiny lock in the safari zone but keep it on for all the legends, not just the covers. I'll wait and see once the games come out but knowing GF it's more likely they'll do this than anything else, seeing as even in BW/BW2 the pokemon the...
Diverse Moovpool=/=Many Usable sets. I understand that flygon can defog and preserve momentum but it's not like only flygon can u-turn, both mandibuzz and scizor can also do so as well as do other things like walling, stalling, punching holes in the opposing team, etc.
As far as it being a...
I really want to explore the safari zone like I did as a kid, but the fear of running into a shiny and it fleeing/I running out of balls is too much. Why GF deided to shiny lock every legend in XY and probably ORAS but will still leave it off in places like this is mind boggling.
To be fair IGN is hardly going to be representative especially with the bunch of people who don't even play pokemon voting skewering the results. I agree that Flygon isn't amazingly popular or anything.
You could say the baton pass argument for anything, and you could easily say with that...
Whilst Flygon certainly has its uses, implying that salamence and garchomp needed megas more than it is just ridiculous. And if flygon doesn't need a mega because we're not using him right, then why say that salamence/altaria/garchomp need megas? Could you not just say that we weren't using them...
I can assure you this isn't the reason behind the delay. That said, I don't know exactly why we're getting it a week later, but it may have something to do with the game rating companies.
Littleroot town, Gym Leader Theme, Rival Theme, Team Leader Theme, Bicycle Theme and Route 120 Theme are all amazing. I felt the trainer and wild themes were ok but not amazing, so this has certainly restored my faith in the soundtrack.
It's a remake, people aren't going to be hyped if we just saw old stuff pre-release. Not to mention it's only really megas that they may have gone overboard on.
