Woooooo Gen 9! I honestly like this batch of starters more than onse we got in the recent gens. Sprigatito is adorable and elegant, Quaxly looks sophisticated but still cool, but my boy Fuecoco! Man that design is fantastic! Fun, laid-back, and just overall playful he's definitely looking like...
So I thought that when we eventually got remakes I would use my typical favorites Infernape, Staraptor and Luxray. However I've actually been considering getting out of my comfort zone so instead I might use:
Empoleon
Roserade
Honchcrow
Gallade
Hippowdon
Magmortar
I figure this could be a nice...
Mine would have to be Kabu. I love his personality and his backstory. The fact he dropped down to the minor league and worked his way back up paired with how he's still trying to improve and learn new things really resonated with me.
I'm torn between the rabbit and the monkey. Monkeys are my favorite animal but the rabbit looks cool and seems like he will be the fastest starter of the bunch. The water lizard looks adorable too.
That's it though it doesn't matter how meaningless it is to you or me, because these games aren't being targeted towards us but younger and newer players instead. Once again just because you and I can play these games at a certain level didn't mean everyone else can which is why these two games...
That's the thing though no one is forced to play the game they way gamefreak wants you to play. Yes you have to grab a water or grass type to enter the gym but that's it once you're in just box it. It's barely any different in the way previous games made you follow a guide to show you what a...
Pikachu being able to learn double kick is no different than Charmander being able to learn metal claw in Firered/Leafgreen. Also having a water or grass type as a requirement to face Brock isn't an issue since you don't actually have to use the Pokemon it just needs to be your party. For us...
So after looking at the new gameplay shown at the treehouse presentation I'm actually more excited to play these games. Kanto is looking absolutely gorgeous, the character models look great, and the region looks so full of life with Pokemon walking around. While I still would love to battle...
I believe the should be out already. I know here in America they got released on the 28th of October.
Also did anyone watch the gamexplain review for the games? While mostly positive one thing that's worrying me is that older models of the 3ds have slow down issues while during certain battles...
This bothered me too but then I remembered that this is gamefreak we're talking about. They're the same people who didn't allow Charizard to learn Fly in red/blue/green, didn't have Emboar learn Fire Punch until B2W2 even though it's Black1 dex entry specifically states that "It can throw a fire...
I wouldn't go that far since water/bug has good defenses but no offense. I mean yeah it's not going to be good competitively but ingame Crawbrawler's line will wreck house.
You're not alone I don't like to stack types either. Luckily I've just managed to put together a team that works for me so hopefully you can find a team that you like.
Primarina has a really cool z move, and Decudieye's looks great too. I think Incineroar's looks cool and fits him really well so good moves all around.
That's a pretty good stat spread if you ask me. I don't play competitively but it looks great for ingame. Good defenses and hp means he can take a hit and the high attack shows he'll come back swinging hard.
Incineroar having intimidate is decent. I mean I wish it got a new ability like the other two but it's still a good ability. Since rock, ground, and fighting are mostly physical intimidate helps out a lot. At the end of the day he has good offense and looks great so I'm happy.
I'm getting Sun and so far my team looks like:
Incineroar
Pikipek(could change)
Vikavolt
Crawbrawler
Mudsdale
Misc
I'm still deciding on who my final member will be but I'm happy I at least have most of my team planned out.
