Actually, Aerodactyl doesn't have an evolution. It's totally possible for them to introduce fossils that don't have evos, I wouldn't discount him based solely on that. Frankly, I'd actually like to see how they'd pull it off.
Shiny Pokémon are even worse. I swear, that's the only one that's gotten away from me...
I'm curious if the roller-blades means we'll be getting more cities or perhaps more paved pathways; it seems difficult, after all, to use them on dirt or gravel, let alone grass.
And Leaf Blade too, hopefully. xD
Also, here's this from Bulbapedia's Arial Ace page:
So the move does apparently hit twice, it just doesn't do damage twice.
It's actually been both in the trailer and on Junichi Masuda's blog confirming it (whatever it may be) as a new game mechanic. I firmly believe this is most probably the evolution method for Sylveon.
Speaking of Sylveon, I found this link just now...which is odd to me because I believe it to be...
I just counted nine Flying-types (excluding legends) without wings, membranes, etc., so you actually have a really good point. Still, two of those are flightless birds from back when "Bird" was originally going to be a type, one is based on a mythical dragon (Gyarados), three are based on leaves...
Quality post, sir. Your contribution to this thread is greatly appreciated.
So really, does anyone else think that Chespin using Ariel Ace might hint at it being a Flying-type, or simply that it learns slash-y moves?
Zorua and Zorork aren't starters though; how are they relevant evidence?
Pink waves implies (if only to me) Psychic. I'm really not sure what else it could be.
That said, will Chespin turn into a /Flying-type? It'd be quite the interesting twist in my opinion. :D
Personally, I'm expecting a pre-evo to Sawk and Throh a la the Hitmons. Another evo could be cool too, but we'll see.
I'd also love if they did more with Sigilyph, be it a pre-evo, evo, or counterpart.
Just got my first pack in a while. After taking way too long to pick a pack, I finally went with a Boundaries Crossed.
Lo and behold, I got not only one but TWO foil Tangrowths-One foil, one reverse! Seriously, what are the chances!? :D
You know what I'd love to see? A low-powered, Normal-type Special attack which would be essentially the Special equivalent of Tackle or Pound. That way, Pokémon with greater Special Atk wouldn't have to start out using a Physical move.
Hey, I had that idea too! Mine was a three-stage family with the first two stages being pure Poison. Now I really hope Nintendo does this. xD
I also think it'd be great if Druddigon evolved into a Dragon/Rock-type. Quite fitting, no?
Well, that's not the direction I would go in. xD
I'd say more that it could turn into a weapon or something; Chespin seems very armor/weapon-y.
Moves don't always make explicit sense. After all, Psyduck and Diglett can learn Scratch, can't they? Heck, even Shedinja can learn it!
Personally...
