well, ember is neutral and STAB so it should do more than quick attack

I dont know what you are talking about dificulty, salamence mission was really easy all i had to do was spamming alliance attack and i defeated him easily The only problem i have is that normal attack are useless so you have to rely on moves and then your pp runs out really fast
