DLC probably won't be released (if there is any) until possibly several months after the games have already been out tho. It's not like it's going to be a release date DLC type situation. Adding new stages or something frivolous like alt costumes doesn't seem like it needs a year of development...

Fffff this DLC fair vs. Unfair argument always gets brought up. The bottom line is, it makes money for the company, I'm sure they don't question "who can afford it vs. who can't". Unfair would be releasing DLC that gives an advantage to players who bought it, which most DLC is just extra bonus...

Sux if they do DLC characters and you can't afford it but you go online and constantly battle Mewtwos or who ever they decide to release if they do, then you're raged with a need for Mewtwo on your game so you beg your Mom for 6.99. I see you Nintendo. Win/Win for you.
