The partner pikachu/eevee has the same IVs always (perfect) so all they would really need to do is code it to pull the name, personality value and level really. they could wipe the AVs because those are Let's Go only. Not sure how such a feature would lead to hacking.

It just felt so bare-bones and rushed to me. I've gone back to play ORAS and SM/USUM multiple times, but never x/y because of how barebones it feels.

I actually loved alola! I have gotten a lot of hours of gameplay out of it. [In my opinion, it was miles and miles better than X and Y... If it wasn't for ORAS then I would have hated gen 6.]

In colosseum, you only snagged trainer shadow pokemon. In XD it was much of the same, but there was a few wild pokemon you could catch like normal [Though you had to set out bait for them and wait for them to appear at the spots.]

This is a romp where they are free to change things up and figure out what works and what doesn't, and the main series is coming 2019. It'll be ok, they aren't changing main series.
