I just saw this episode to see what was going on with Serena.
All I can say is that the major focus is on Chole so of course, Serena is not going to get the spotlight. The screentime with Ash is basically the writers treading carefully as to not ruin any moment with them. I could go even...
Well, I'm back just like I say I would whenever there's a hint of shipping between them.
Although this episode doesn't really hint much, it's nice to see interaction between Ash and Serena. I guess the writers were being careful with how to handle this sort of thing. There are a decent amount...
Good question.
Firstly, I would like to point out that this is all speculation since many of the rumours are saying that Ash is going back to all the regions. My guess was him battling the Elite 4 and Champion since that'll provide enough screentime for things. So if the whole series is 150...
That wasn't my point.
My claim was that Ash actually says that becoming a Champion Master leads to becoming a Pokemon Master and you reaffirm it by you mentioning the Japanese version. The meaning may have been lost in English but the context is still there.
That said, I was wrong when I...
True, but don't forget that it's Ash. He wouldn't be happy with just becoming Champion in one region, he'll want to take on all of them. That and the writers could add that in as a reason to go back to the other regions. It wouldn't make sense for Ash to earn badges and win the Pokemon League...
Actually, they did mention what a Pokemon Master means.
I just watched the last episode of the Sinnoh Saga and Ash says:
"Someday, somehow, I'm going to win the Champion League and become Champion Master."
--Pikachu speaks--
"You're right and of course that means I'll finally become a Pokemon...
I have mixed feelings about this.
On one hand, I'm glad that Ash won the League because he deserves it.
On the other hand, it's a series that I wasn't invested in and I really don't like the direction that they took with the Sun/Moon series. I'd prefer if he won the League in Sinnoh or Kalos.
I kind of agree on that.
It really reminded of when I was playing Pokemon XD where they were literally just teasing you about a couple of 4th gen Pokemon coming into DPPt.
There's plenty of people who are calling Colosseum and XD a mainline Pokemon title but it is not apart of the 'core' series.
I haven't seen any article where Game Freak says that either.
Even Bulbapedia doesn't list them as a spin-off title...
What? No. I never said that.
I'll try and describe what this person said:
The core series: basically has all the main elements that make a Pokemon game. From Gen 1 where it has the main structure of a game to Gen 7 where it has updated with a lot of things like battling, catching, trading...
From someone in another forum:
They refer to the Let's Go games as "mainline" but only refer to next year's games as "core" games. This leads to some obvious conclusions to their criteria.
Mainline = Not MD, Conquest, Rangers, Quest, Snap, Rumble, or Shuffle. You catch Pokémon (Not play as...
To further validate this.
The developers said that this is a mainline title but did not mention anything about being a port of the core series.
From that presentation video:
- They said that this game is part of a mainline title at around 17 mins.
- They later mentioned that another 'Core'...
Yeah, I can sort of understand that they want to bring in more casual players as well as the ones from Pokemon GO but this is a bit lackluster.
At least we have assurance that the next mainline title (possibly Gen 8) is coming next year though.
Still, it seems like this game is going to be 7th...
I have mixed feelings for this game.
It really feels like a watered down version of the current mainline Pokemon games tbh.
I'll probably get it in the end though.
I guess I can understand that. I also think that another reason why these people think that there are 2 timelines is because they've started playing the GBA/DS series first. They could also have played the older gen games but missed out on the tidbits of information for it.
I'm a bit picky when...
I would like to make a post to this forum since another user introduced me to it recently.
Yes, I know I'm a bit late but I would like to post what I know about these timelines. Also, I prefer to keep this info here in case I somehow lose it on my PC, lol.
Firstly, I agree with TC that there is...
Yeah, that sounds like a dream game really.
I would love it if that happens but I don't think you should raise your expectation that high since you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
Hmm, that's interesting.
I've always believed that there are 3 different timelines because of the Link...
