In my perspective, being a Pokémon Master is not about what competitions you win (there's already a title for that: Champion), but about your knowledge on Pokémon as species and individuals (that's why it's called "POKÉMON Master").
So, I'm perfectly fine with Ash's answer.
That's all I'm going...
> "Bad" Pokémon game releases
> Sells extremely well
> Angry fans and bad faith critics claim the series will never be good again
> "Good" Pokémon game releases
> Sells extremely well
> "There is still hope!"
And the cycle repeats.
> Pokémon should be held up to the standards of other RPGs.
> Mandatory Exp. Share is the standard in other RPGs.
Mmm... I wonder why Pokémon decided to make Exp. Share mandatory?
As for the main topic: back in the day they complained on forums, now they complain on YouTube, it's just a natural...
There's a rom hack out there (I won't mention the name) that has a system similar to this "Let's Go!":
When you find a wild Pokémon, the game tells you that the Pokémon appeared, show it's name and sprite, and gives you 4 options:
- Engage (regular battle)
- Ignore (run button, without starting...
Different formulas, different rules.
What PLA does is completely irrelevant to SV, because for one, PLA has catching as its main goal, while in the traditional formula (the one that SV is following) catching is entirely optional: you don't need to catch the same Pokémon 10 times, nor make said...
Pokémon fans have news anxiety.
I could elaborate, but instead, I will say this:
Do you know what the definition of "insanity" is?
Doing the same ****ing thing over and over, and expecting it to change.
This implies that everyone here has bought the spin-offs (and engaged in MTX, in the case of the F2P ones), the cards, merch etc, and we know that this isn't true at all.
And speaking of which, why haven't you played the spin-offs yet? What about a Mon games that are not Pokémon?
The news won't come unless you're not expecting them.
Keep posting "where are the news", and the second trailer may be the last piece of information we eill get pre-release through official means.
Now you know exactly how other Mon franchises handle their rosters.
There are plenty of Digimon out there that only appeared once and were never seen again in ANY piece of Digimon media, and others who still appear, but not as playable characters.
Going to other franchise, on 2004 Medabots got a...
Alola and Unova are both based on the United States, yet there was no attempt to link the two.
Kanto, Jotho, Hoenn and Sinnoh are both based on Japan, and while the former two are connected, that's ONLY because Gold and Silver were planned to be the last games in the franchise (Kanto and Johto...
PLA was announced in Febuary 2021, we didn't got more news until AUGUST, yet the game is the fastet selling in the entire franchise.
And let's not forget that leaks are a thing.
Yes, they were all Western fans.
"Pokémon is going downhill!"
"Pokémon based off inanimated objects!? Disgusting! They running out of ideas!"
"Gen 5 Pokémon are just clones of Gen 1 Pokémon!"
"Gen 1/Emerald/HGSS was the last good game/Gen!"
And Famitsu did gave BW a perfect score, to this day...
