I cant seem to break the 4Iv on my breeding, any advice?

Question: I have a Shellder and Im going to use it for battling, Its IV trained, Ev trained and has its egg moves I want, Shellder does not learn shell smash till lv 56 and Cloyster doesnt learn it at all. Am I at a disadvantage if i dont evolve Shellder till 56? Anyway to obtain it before hand?

I may be mistaken, but is there someone in game who can teach pokemon moves before they learn it? Ive seen/read something about this but cant recall. Example is I want my Shellder to learn shell smash and some other moves before 56. (Shell smash is learned at 56)

Okay, im fairly new at this, I have a Shellder with the Right nature and ability I want and I am completley clueless on how to get/check/ensure it has the best iv's i can for her.

Usually if it happens, I find something I know they like and call them out on it. Everyone has something they like and anything can have a fault. Besides my wife said it at first, and shes glued to the couch playing Y as I type lol.

Never bothered me. Poke fan for life! People forget its one of the most solid RPGS ever and it has not been destroyed like other franchises IMO.
