    Community POTW #029

Whimsicott is and continues to be one of my favorite pokemon to use and abuse. I'm still surprised it's only RU on Showdown, because Whimsicott runs the trolliest set. At maxed speed and a Timid Nature, Whimsicott's Subs will even outspeed Talonflame's Brave Birds (Unless it's a Jolly...

A Planeswalker's Guide to SPPf (Magic: the Gathering)

I've playtested each event deck one against the other on Cockatrice, and Boros eats Simic for breakfast. I would have maybe put a little more red, and thrown in more Ground Assaults. That's a really good card. But the Boros owns them all the way.

I liked Domri, he seemed legit anyway. Would that mean Aurelia, Borby V2 and Enter the Infinite, and the Tyrant are fake too seeing as they were spoiled simultaneously? I've also made my desicion for the pre-release. I'm going Simic. Getting the Guildmage and/or that 0/4 unblockable Evolve...

A Planeswalker's Guide to SPPf (Magic: the Gathering)

Obzedat has some insane Potential imo. He's not any good as a defensive wall, but he messes up Control so badly. The ability to drain 2 life a turn is really powerful if you can stall out enough, it fits with Extort well in any case. Lazav though, might not have so much playability in Standard...

A Planeswalker's Guide to SPPf (Magic: the Gathering)

Depends what kind of deck you want. Horde of Notions is fun to play, but otherwise doesn't have much of a strategy and the Five Color Manabase is often tricky to pull off without a hefty budget. Glissa seems better to me. You get all the ramp in Green, the tutoring in Black, and they are a lot...

I might disagree. Windfall effects can always be nice when you're out of juice, it also fills your grave for Reanimation/Snapcaster/Deathrite, and fuels your hand with brand new cards. 2UB might be a bit too much, but I think with all the extra free spells it would be wonderful.

In any case, all these cards seem to be powerful for EDH, except maybe Firemane Avenger. The best would be Fathom Mage. Whether combined with Animar of the Mimeoplasm, it makes for formidable power.

A Planeswalker's Guide to SPPf (Magic: the Gathering)

If we go logically, we started with Simic and have gone through Gruul and Boros, so if we keep thinking along the UG/GR/RW/WB/BU lines, tommorow is Orzhov and friday Dimir. Firemane Avenger looks like a fun card to play with. I don't think he'll be as powerful as the other 4-drops available...

The Simic rare could be very nice, and its what Scavenge is waiting for. I'd love a BUG counters deck with this. Drop this, then Corpsejack menace to draw an extra 2 cards :D Might go for Simic or Gruul, both are ridiculously tempting and my probably my favourite guilds

    Planeswalkers

Zendikar, the jungles of Bala Ged. Alicia spat at the cowering goblin. "I've paid you and your friends to get me to the catacombs. Eldrazi or no Eldrazi, you'll do your job. Alicia had never liked goblins, but they knew their way around the ever-changing continent. "You can't be serious!" the...

I heard someone won a GP with a self-mill reanimator with Chronic Flooding and Angel of Glory's Rise, then the players ranking from 2 to 15 were all rakdos.

Planeswalkers. Sign-Ups (a Magic the Gathering RPG)

Well I figured it would be more of a Mallet Sized-Hammer, and the Pike is enchanted to take on any length. I figured both would just be attached to her belt. She's be constantly wearing her gauntlets, and her crossbow would probably just be slung across her back alongside her quiver :)

Well Deathrite for Sorin is definately a good trade. Sorin.1 for legacy seems strange though. I recently discovered the wondrous world of Vhati Il-Dal. I'm preparing a Commander Deck for him ASAP, I've already figured a combo with Thornbite Staff + Night of Soul's Betrayal
