so is there any way to keep track of how many pokemon you've chained? Is it the exact same mechanics as 4th gen? Does merbear's guide still work the best? Does catching pokemon continue a chain?

can someone please tell me how everyone keeps getting flawless shinies in this gen? I've been searching and can't find a guide or anything.

yea but that only works if I've uploaded them to photobucket or somewhere like that, which I haven't and don't really feel like doing quite honestly. I'd rather just upload them straight from my computer to here, but that can't be done.

how do you guys get so many shinies so quickly and randomly? I've only ever found 2 random shinies (my ponyta and kricketot), the rest I chained for, and only abra was through soft resetting at the game corner.

I've checked ebay and these are very rare and are actually selling at $100+. From what I can tell, these were the ones that gamestop displayed but was supposed to return to nintendo. somehow this one didn't get returned and now I have it.
