I generally play the male trainer, but this is, hands down, the worst trainer design they've done so far. The female trainer is... OK, but the male trainer is just dumb looking.
I guess I'll wait another year before deciding on getting a Switch, because a Yellow remake is really not what I want.
-Just the original 151 Pokémon? No, thanks. I grew up with gen.1, but I'm so tired of the nostalgia milking.
-No wild Pokémon battles? What? I don't understand...
-A Pokémon...
What I expect is that it'll cater mainly towards young kids as it's always done.
What I hope for is that it goes more for the suitable for any age group, without looking like it was targeted towards 9-year olds. A kids show can handle mature themes that adults may appreciate more, whilst still...
I really don't like the idea of DLC, because it's usually overpriced and thus feels like cheap cash-grabbing. There's also that risk of content being deliberately taken out just so it can be sold later on, even though that content could and should have been included with the main game. But... if...
With Pokémon, setting expectations for anything that go beyond slightly above what the previous generation had to offer is foolish. The only major upgrade I'd expect to see in the graphics department, because console > handheld.
Basically, what I'm expecting is to see more of the same, but with...
If it's just a remake of the first games but with shinier graphics, I have no interest in it. I've already played the originals and the GBA remakes a bunch of times.
What I would be interested in is them treating it like a new generation, but set in the Kanto region. Keep the main characters...
I'm fine with the combat system staying as it is, mechanically. What I want to see is faster and more streamlined combat message processing (or an option for it), not needing to press A to confirm basic messages all the time. I want animations for everything in combat to be sped up. For a game...
Elite Four: defeated Hala first. Was a pretty easy fight, using Nebby (Lunala) and Flairy (Ribombee) who was my MVP in this fight.
Second fight against Olivia. Was a little tougher due to me messing up with typing. Thought Ice was strong against Rock, but I was mistaken. Still, made it through...
Finished up the main story and am about to challenge the Elite Four right now. Current team:
Lvl 55 - Nebby (Lunala)
Lvl 57 - Aluna (Absol)
Lvl 57 - Rokhar (Lycanroc (Sun))
Lvl 57 - Kapur (Arcanine)
Lvl 58 - Flairy (Ribombee)
Lvl 59 - Aslas (Milotic)
And... I forgot to stock up on resources...
Well, the original art from Pokémon Yellow has it without the black tip, so I guess that's what I'll go with.

I'm looking for someone to trade with to evolve my Feebas into Milotic, and my Kadabra into Alakazam. In return, I can help with a trade evolution. I'm playing on Pokémon Moon.
Please send me a message or quote me in this forum thread if you're willing to trade me.

This works, because they're in their own world. In No Game No Life, it doesn't matter how overpowered Blank is because the whole point of the story is to display their mad skillz. Without them, there wouldn't even be a No Game No Life to begin with. On top of that, there's at least effort put...
Looking for someone to evolve my Rockruff in their Pokémon Sun game and then trade it back to me. It's currently level 24 and at the verge of levelling up, so it should take only 1 encounter to get it to evolve. In return, I can help you evolve your Rockruff in my Pokémon Moon game or help you...
There's a reason they're disliked by people, because they're very predictable and warp the world around them in a way that, if following canon, shouldn't happen.
Predictable in ways, such as:
-they'll always have conveniency on their side.
-they'll always do the right thing.
-they'll always...
Lillie: Fairly neutral towards her. I just dislike how helpless she is all the time.
Hau: 1-dimensional happy-go-lucky "rival". Nothing to see here.
Kukui: Another cool professor. Favourite character in the game so far.
None, really, in my opinion. But if I had to pick one for him, water...
On 2nd island so far, and haven't found a single tune I really like yet. So sad, as the OST is one of the things I look forward to the most when a new Pokémon game is released. X & Y were one of my all-time favourites, but Sun & Moon is somewhere at the bottom, along with gen 4's OST. :(
I liked it a lot, even though I never really bothered with it after finishing the story content. I'd say it's pretty high on the list, but definitely not at the top.
Having played for 10 hours now, general thoughts:
-Start playing. So much dialogue everywhere.
-Get Rowlet.
-Battle backgrounds look nice.
-Checking out the area. So much dialogue everywhere.
-Catch Ledyba.
-Grind to level 8.
-Stomp my rival.
-Explore town. So much dialogue everywhere...
