I doubt that. If that were the case, they wouldn't have muted out what Serena is going to say. We already know she's going to put on a show. That particular scene is definitely her telling Clemont and Bonnie what she's going to do.

But think, would training with Yashio really be that surprising to Clemont and Bonnie? She'd likely still be in Kalos, and she'd still be training to be Kalos Queen. I think it's something else.

Pretty sure the "Zettai ni mitenai?", was one of the narrators speaking, not Bonnie. It didn't even sound like her voice. I think the only dialogue was hearing Serena say "I", and then Clemont's "Huh?"

No, that scene is probably when she actually makes her decision on what she's going to do. The only question is why would they be surprised, and where is Ash?

I don't see how battling Ash will cause Serena to presumably pursue Yashio. Battling and performances are two different things.

I mean, Dedenne might only be sad because Ash and Pikachu are leaving (and Goodra by extension). Serena, Clemont and Bonnie could very well all stay in Kalos right?

The wording itself is still rather confusing. The way it's phrased makes it seems like everyone is going to the same place, except Dedenne.

Again, emotional doesn't have to mean the characters are crying. They show some sadness, and have a character specific moment with Ash each related to what each of their stories with Ash were.

Uh, only BW wasn't emotional. AG and DP were pretty emotional (May showed sadness on the boat, Ash had to go talk to Max, Dawn almost cried), so I don't know what you're talking about. I never said he'd cry over them, I said it be a nice moment shared between him and the others. Emotional moment...

It makes far more sense for an emotional moment between Ash and Serena/Clemont/Bonnie. Not sure why you think there won't be one between Ash and them, especially given the fact those three are still living in the same region and Ash is not. Unless you're just being negative.

To be fair, they didn't say he was killed. Malva was asked what happened to him and she said "who knows".

He makes his decision in the episode prior to this one. The summaries were paired together.

We won't know where they are until the episode. There'd be no point in having Clemont and Bonnie's farewell episode be before this if they are still in Lumiose.

But Ash is in some random forest in the Xerosic episode. And it doesn't seem like Clemont and Bonnie are there in this episode, nor does it appear they are in the next episode including Serena.

Do we even know where this episode is taking place? It could be there.

The what exactly did they do? They went to rescue Hari-san, and had help from Steven. But obviously fail. Do they just fly there, fail, and then fly back to Lumiose?
